These two bottom loading memorial pet/dog urns are each made from the same unusually dark spalted ambrosia maple board. They are handcrafted, milled and built from the finest of hardwoods.

Each urn body is vertically book matched from dark spalted ambrosia maple. This gives a nice mirror image appearance from top to bottom as well around 3 of the 4 the tightly and precisely mitered vertical corners. Each top is solid book matched dark ambrosia maple from the same board. Each top has a precisely routed "roundover" edge profile. Both urns have a Peruvian inlay in top and deals bottom aspects of the body.

Left urn measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 5 3/8" and has an internal volume of 60 pounds.

Right urn measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 5 5/8" and has an internal volume of 65 pounds.

Urns are accessed by removing the 2 recessed Phillips head screws from the recessed removable bottom (last 2 images). Screw holes are currently pending. Each urn has 4 nonslip pads on bottom as well as my shop name branded into it.

Both urn bottoms are made from dark ambrosia maple.

Outside is finished with several coats of wipe on high gloss polyurethane and hand buffed with 4-0 steel wool and paste wax. Inside has only been finely sanded.
 
Either or both of these urns should be proudly displayed in the home as a memorial to your beloved pet or deceased.
