POODLE Inlay with Maple, dyed Basswood,Cherry,Holly, Sapele, Cedar --Gunmetal/Chrome Elegant Sierra twist pen: with a deals Window pen box

This Handcrafted Poodle Inlay twist pen was included in my Inlay Pen section due to the unique features of the poodle inlay in Curly Maple and beautiful Gunmetal/Chrome hardware combination. It will definitely be cherish and appreciated by that dog and animal lover that you know. The Poodles are known as highly intelligent, energetic, and social breed. I have not found many Poodle inlay pens in stores or on deals line, so this is definitely an opportunity , to give the Poodle , animal and dog lover a chance to acquire one.

This pen and others I will include in my store, are constructed and made with a special consideration for those that ,collect, give as a gift and appreciates great details in a Pen . The materials I used ( 16 pieces of various woods: Dyed Alder, basswood, cherry, holly, Sapele, Alaskan cedar and Spanish red cedar) . The pieces were inlaid to the Curly Maple barrel and glued to a brass tube to keep the pieces of wood and hardware together. Following , it was turn on a lathe very carefully, so that the wood blank would hold together. The Elegant Sierra Pen in Gunmetal /Chrome is a very classic and elegant style twist pen. The inlay adds such beauty to the inlaid design of the small piece of wood joined together to form a POODLE on a Tube. Just look at the beautiful outline of this gorgeous Poodle.

To complete this Pen , I then used my three step finishing process by sanding with 14 different grits of sanding material. The Pen body was then finished using Cyanoacrylate (CA) glue, then I used micro mesh to polish to a very nice finish.


This inlaid wood pen will be admire by a person that loves pens. The extraordinary combination of woods are breath taking. It will give you a special personal style at your office. I've included a window pen box. NN202005-11
