14" Betty by deals Madame Alexander ~ Little Colonel Composition Doll

deals Layaway available. This is a really great dolly and always high in demand. She is Betty by Madame Alexander. She is all composition and 14" tall. Unmarked like many Alexanders. The tag on her outfit most likely fell off over time. She is wearing her 3 piece factory original Little Colonel outfit. It consists of long dress, slip and pantaloon combo and matching bonnet. Outfit is in good condition. The pantaloon/slip combo has a small slit along the seam line of one pant leg which can easily be mended with a few stitches if need be, She has been in storage for a while so her outfit has a little bit of wrinkling. The fabric still has some crispness to it. Betty has a very pretty face. Working brown tin sleep eyes. Has a little bit of lash missing on one eye. Original mohair wig and original painted brow. She is always a pretty doll to find. Her stringing is a little bit loose and eventually will need to be redone but for now she can do well in a doll stand. The Oil cloth shoes are original. I included a photo of one of the Little Colonel versions found in the M.A. reference book and you can see how similar the dolls are. Betty has no repaints and no repairs. No lifting and no cracks.
