Beautiful Vintage Japanese H.F.T.C. Matte Black on White with Hand Painted 24K Gold Landscape Watermil Artwork Porcelain Tea Set. Covered Teapot, Sugar and Creamer. SEE THE CONDITION NOTES. This is a very RARE and Hard to Find Japanese Antique Set. It appears to be a Kutiani decorated set. Great artwork with lots of colorful details on matte black. I have more matching pieces listed elsewhere including a couple of lithophane cups. Marked HANDPAINTED / 24K. G. / H.F.T.C. under the foot. The decoration and borders point these being by Kutani. Circa early to deals mid 1900s. Japan. The Teapot is Approx.8" Handle to Spout X 6” Diameter X 3.75” Tall. The Creamer is Approx.5.5" Handle to Spout X 3.9” Diameter X 3.35” Tall. The Sugar is Approx 6" Handle to Spout X 4.4” Diameter X 3.7” Tall. The TeaPot has been repaired somewhat crudely. Priced accordingly. The other pieces are in Good previously owned antique condition. They have some signs of age or use including some marks in the black that.
