This is a huge wall frame, and absolutely stunning! Approximately 3' tall by 2' wide, hand carved solid wood ornate gilt wood framed mirror. French baroque empire style scrollwork beveled frame details, with bird in flight, quiver and torch topping the piece. The top deals decoration is 5.5" tall from tip to tip of the carving, the frame is 2" thick, back to front, and varies from 1.5" to 5" all the way around, as the decoration changes throughout. It's magnificent, and HEAVY. Nearly 20lbs. Will be extremely carefully packaged for the safest shipping possible. Mirror silver is in near perfect condition, no chips, scratches, fading, it's quite lovely for an antique. Please see all photos for details. There are a couple small and hard to notice chips in the wood towards the back of the frame, not visible when hung. This is a luxurious, timeless piece of craftsmanship and history.
