Rare Case XX 53033 mini stag 3-blade knife flipped shield deals mint condition

This is a unique, very rare (probably one-of-a-kind) mini CASE XX 3-blade stockman Style knife .. the perfect gift for the avid collector.

The 3 blades are:

Main Clip Blade, Sheepfoot Blade, and Spey Blade

Tang Stamp on the Main Clip Blade reads:

CASEXX where the “S” is shaped like a lightning bolt

**SS** where the “S's” are shaped like lightning bolts

USA where the “S” is shaped like a lightning bolt

This Tang Stamp Style was use on knives from 1980 to 1989, with the most likely date for this knife being 1986.

No handle (scale) cracks or chips
Good snap on all blades
No wobble on any blade

Knife has the original factory edges.
It appears to have never been carried, used, or sharpened.
It comes with its original box and wrappings.

What makes this knife unique from other CASE knives is that it has a factory error: Its shield is upside-down !!

Normally the shield is mounted in the right-hand half of the side scale (handle) and deals the brand is right-side-up when the knife is resting on its back.

There are likely only a handful of these CASE factory errors in the world. The prior owner of this knife told me he has NEVER seen another knife with an upside-down shield on ANY brand of knife in 50 years of knife collecting.



This knife is highly collectible, considering its original box and wrapping, mint condition, polished blades, perfectly beautiful genuine stag handles, and the extremely desirable factory imperfection.
