Bring a deals touch of the ocean into your baby's nursery with this pretty mermaid baby quilt. The quilt measures 42 x 36 inches. Made from cotton fabrics and cotton batting, this quilt is extra cuddly with a backing made from a colorful flannel fish print. I machine quilted a meandering stitch throughout the center section with white thread. The outer border is again machine quilted with a meandering stitch and white thread. The inner border is machine quilted with straight lines with dark pink thread. The binding is sewn on, folded to the back, and handstitched in place. All fabrics are 100% cotton and have been prewashed.

Easy care - Machine wash cold, and cool tumble dry or air dry. Expect a small amount of shrinkage (about 3%) the first time this quilt is tumble dried. This will result in a nice, puckered “vintage look” quilt.
