I had a crazy time making this cute and elegant apron. The main reason is the representation of the Sicilian Moors. In the harness I painted a plant of red peppers.
The band under the pockets is enriched with Sicilian subjects and their names in Sicilian dialect.
I find that a Sicilian cook or chef, in her restaurant, should wear an apron that evokes the elements and legends of her land.
The apron is made of white cotton made in Italy. It is painted with acrylic paints. The garment can be machine washed up to 60 degrees. Do not use bleach. Must be ironed from the reverse
