'Outlaw' is a coloured pencil drawing. Created in a photo realistic style there is a high level of detail captured in this striking portrait of a beautiful grey wolf. I chose to use a limited palette, setting the wolf against a misty, silvery background to compliment the fur which is portrayed with a realistic softness. There is a slightly haunted expression in the deals eyes, hinting at the plight of these stunning yet much maligned creatures in the wild, hence the title.
