Please note: Sterling silver WILL TARNISH. That is a normal process that happens with exposure to air. Sterling jewelry can be easily cleaned with a jewelry polishing cloth and should be done on occasion. Note that if you are wearing the items this process does not happen as fast due to the oils in your skin coating it to protect from tarnish. If is sits in a box unworn you may find it turns dark , again a quick wipe with a polish cloth will clean it . If your skin turns dark when wearing it that is a normal process too that is caused by your body chemistry and can happen one day and not the next .
