This modem supports true Gigabit speeds. I have a connection with 1.2Gbps and even though this modem has a max rating of 1Gbps, I still get approx. 700-800 Mbps via Ethernet and about 500Mbps when connected through my Wi-Fi router (not part of this package). Approved for Comcast Xfinity, and other services. Backwards compatible with 32x8 DOCSIS 3.0. Still works great, but I'm looking to upgrade to a faster modem, so on sale it goes. Open to reasonable offers.
