Vintage Adjustable deals Indian Elephant Bookends

Here we have one vintage sliding wooden elephant book rack from India circa the 1960's. The rack consists of solid hand carved wood, and steel hinges. The elephants on either deals side flip up and provide support for books while the grooved center allows for a multitude of books to be displayed. The piece is in excellent condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and everything works just as it should. This would be the perfect display option for any open shelf, mantle, or tabletop.
