Outstanding, one-of-a-kind, ART Deco, Celluloid, Rhinestone, Gold Leaf Pendant Necklace from the 1920s. Measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and in an Irregular Hexagon Shape, this antique pendant base is constructed of a black Crystalate or Galalith Celluloid with a hinged top. Clear, faceted crystal rhinestones are hand set throughout. An octagonal, faceted blue glass or crystal stone is bezel set in the center, and hand-applied gold leaf borders both the center stone and edge of the pendant. This fabulous, high-end jewelry pendant came with a 24" x 1/8" black satin ribbon but may easily be replaced with your own chain. Excellent condition - polish to satisfaction.
