These distressed wood Texas flags are built using all reclaimed wood. The wooden Texas flags are made to order and hand painted, lightly sanded with a black dry brush technique to produce a realistic aged appearance. These wood wall flags are roughly 28" tall x 48" long and have a strong wire on the back for hanging. The reclaimed woods include oak, pine, hickory and poplar wood tobacco sticks. Each wood stick has a unique saw blade pattern which provides a rich depth of texture in each flag.

This wood Texas flag was painted using a darker red and blue and has an attached wood star. I have the option for more "faded" (lighter) deals colors with a painted star available here:

In case you're unfamiliar tobacco sticks were used to hang tobacco leaves on as they dried and cured in the barns. There is no smell of tobacco within the woods.
