Large Ethiopian Hand-Carved Vintage Wooden deals Tray

Large hand-carved wooden Injera serving tray with raised edges, decorated with grooves on the sloping side. Showing visible use over decades, this "Jinka" which translates to "made from a tree" would look equally good hung on deals your wall or as a centerpiece on a dining table to hold fruit or simply on its own. Cicra 1930.

This item is part of my private collection, acquired mid-2006 in South-Eastern Ethiopia.
