......gorgeous vintage Raku pottery lidded platter in a light grey finish with black and slate toned decoration and accents.......this is a masterfully executed piece, with a perfectly fitted lid, and a smooth grey gloss interior.......the piece can be used as a covered platter or dish, a cool storage piece, or simply as an envy-inducing display on your favorite bookshelf or credenza........it's in fantastic condition, with no chips or cracks.......there are a few small "color misses" on the black trim areas----they are not chips or flakes, just small spots where the color missed or didn't take.......the piece is signed on the bottom, though I've not been able to successfully decipher it.......it also appears to be dated 1993........a dynamite piece by a very skilled potter...
