Gorgeous 1950s Westmoreland Glass Company milk glass "Nesting Hen" covered dish. Crafted milk glass with hand painted red comb and eyes. Positioned with turned head and split tail.
The Nesting Hen was made in the 1950's by the Westmoreland Glass Company, based in Pennsylvania and deals was responsible for 90% of milk glass produced in the United States.
One previous owner, excellent condition with no cracks, chips, discoloration or repairs with all original paint.
