Like all my hats and headpieces, "Wies" is made from leftover millinery and/or craft supplies and materials. This hat is made from sisal straw in a peach pink color (although the tag says 100% viscose for some unknown reason); the hat was originally found at a secondhand store, steamed, cleaned, and reshaped. Recycled/reused cotton ribbon was used for the hatband and matching handmade cockade trim, and in the middle of the cockade is a vintage button. This hat will fit up to size 59 cm. (large) comfortably. The crown is 4.5 in./11 cm. tall, and the brim is 3.25 in./8.5 cm. at its widest on the downturn under the cockade. Perfect for a garden party deals, wedding, church/synagogue/religious ceremony, tea party, farmers market, the races, or any occasion you feel like wearing it! A nice straw hat that will work well for spring and summer!
