This is a beautiful antique victorian revival hallmarked 800 silver miniature jewelry or trinket box with a floral design and a gold gilt interior/ The box is probably austrian or german in origin.

The box is in overall excellent condition with some minor surface wear and a couple very small dings on lid. There is some light tarnish and smudges, it should be professionally polished. The deals manufacture is slightly crude. The box is cast not stamped so it is quite heavy for its size.

Due to age of box I do not recommend it for storage of any kind of pills or other consumables. It should be treated as a collectable or used to store nonconsumables such as rings or earrings.
