This unique one of a kind framed landscape art quilt of a tree scene would be a beautiful addition to your home décor and art collection. The original design fiber art quilt is framed in an old barn wood frame that I purchased in a craft store in Oregon.
The quilt was created by layering fabric with a piece of felt for stability. The purple background fabric has images of trees that were stitched around for definition. Pieces of green fiber were added to mimic forest greenery in the bottom of the deals frame. Other three dimensional fibers and artificial stems in shades of brown were added to the bottom edge forming a brush affect behind the green fibers. An actual tree branch with buds was added for embellishment and extends from the greenery up through the center of the background trees. The branch was coated to preserve it.
This art quilt is beautifully framed in a rustic old barn wood frame that was handcrafted in Oregon. The frame measures 9.75 inches wide by 11.5 inches. The actual art piece is 8 inches by 10 inches. The back of the frame is finished with a light tan piece of felt.
The frame has an eye screw and wire hanger attached. It will hang from one small nail. If you lack wall space, this piece would also look great propped on a shelf.
