The handle of this wand is made of magnolia tulip wood (Magnolia × soulangeana). It is a cross between the Chinese magnolia Yulan (Magnolia denudata) and the purple magnolia (Magnolia liliiflora), also from East Asia. Magnolia tulip is the most commonly planted magnolia today in Central Europe, which is why it is simply called "magnolia" without further additions. Magnolia tulip is a deciduous tree or a large shrub that can reach a height of up to 9 m. It has an enlarged crown on a short and usually crooked trunk.
Magnolia wood is medium-hard and medium-heavy. It is easy to process and has a light yellow-green shimmer.

The body, on the other hand, is made of maple wood, with a natural color. The central ring is made of copper.
Part of the copper and maple body are artificially oxidized to continue the darker, natural design presents on magnolia wood.

The wand is finished with carnauba wax, which is obtained from the leaves of a palm tree collected during the arid season when they are still closed and wrapped in a thin layer of wax. Finally polished with shellac cream, a natural resin.
