This is a wonderful antique European grain sack dating from the 1930s with unusual and rare printed stripes! This sack was hand woven and was once used for storing grains. The quality is AMAZING ~ all woven by hand ~ I was lucky to find many of these sacks and so we have a few varieties of tones and stripes for you to browse on our Etsy and eBay stores! MEASUREMENTS: 20 inches by 46 inches ( because it's a sack, each side measures this )
WEAVE/WEIGHT: This sack has a nubby plain weave, heavy weight !!~
CONDITION: This sack has been freshly laundered and it is ready to use! Because of the hand woven nature of this sack, you may find some nubs and pulls in the weave, which is typical of these antique sacks. Overall this sack is in fantastic condition however there will always be some small signs of time and use, often inherent in these wonderful textiles~!
