The region is Japanese! The console was modded before but was never restored to the normal firmware. IT WILL NOT INCLUDE A SD CARD! IT WILL NOT PLAY USA 3DS GAMES UNLESS MODDED FURTHER AND REGION CHANGED! BUT WILL PLAY ALL REGION DS GAMES! The console shows some wear and tear with scuffs and small scratches around the console from normal wear. The circle pad rubber is loose and will come off if you try to pull it deals off. I replaced the buttons with black buttons since the paint on the old buttons were chipping off. The screen has a screen protector on it The the charging plug is a little wonky as in that you need to have the cable be at a certain position to be able to charge the console.
