Offering a breathtaking large designer "Kenneth Jay Lane" highly collectible vintage clear pave crystal rhinestone brooch that can optionally be converted into a Bridal hair comb (permanently.) Let me just start by saying that photos are in no way doing this one justice! The beautiful ruffled feather (or leaf) shaped silver setting is completely encrusted with small round cut clear paved rhinestones. I love the shape and lacy design of this one not to mention the sparkle. This heirloom quality jewel measures 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm) wide by 2 1/8 inches (5.3 cm) not counting the teeth of the comb. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition with all stones present, accounted for, and brilliant with sparkle. (The photos are making the metal look dark in spots. It's not; it is shiny and bright with no signs of wear). This would be stunning pinned to a simple length of ribbon for a unique period bridal sash. If you prefer to wear this in your hair instead, I can remove the pin hardware (permanently) and mount on a new silver plated hair comb base at no extra charge/specify at checkout. My hair combs are designed to stay in place. If you choose to have it converted to a comb, the jewel will be mounted at a slight angle to the comb base so that the hair can slide underneath the brooch to the top of the comb keeping it deals secure. Why settle for vintage "inspired" when you can have a true one-of-a-kind period jewel?
