DESCRIPTION
Lavandula intermedia Gros Bleu
Gros Bleu is a variety of French Lavender with a darker blue violet color. It has a graceful habit and is sweeter in fragrance than Grosso (the typical variety) deals due to less camphor in the oil. The stems length are also longer than Grosso approximately 18-20" but can be as long as 24"--if you'd like longer stems, do write for more information--the shipping costs are more as a longer box is required. The lavender will be tied and wrapped with hemp twine in 250 stem bunches.

I grew, hand harvested and dried this fragrant lavender on my sustainable farm in Montana. My lavender work is all done by hand. I grew my field from seed (Munstead and Hidcote English Lavender) and cuttings (Grosso and Gros Bleu French Lavender.) I harvest every year by hand cutting lavender bunches and then hanging them to dry from the rafters in my shop . Bouquets and Bunches are made by rearranging the lavender flower stems and re-tying the lavender with ribbon, hemp, or cotton ties.

I hand wrap each lavender bunch for shipping and custom make a box or send in a Priority Mail box so that your lavender travels well.
