Featuring hand-cut paper designs of an Elephant, Lion, Hippo and Giraffe on the African lamp and a Dog, Cat, Bunny and Bird on the other. This little lamp would be perfect for any kids room or nursery. Comes with a 15w candelabra bulb, but also may be used with a 4w bulb which is perfect for a night light.
Napalese Lokta paper on Japanese Kinwashi paper. Lokta papers are an eco-friendly "tree-free" paper, derived rom the bark of Nepal's dahne (aka Lokta) bush, the dyes are often extracted from the skins of natural fruits, spices, nuts and vegetables, to produce the intense colors and soft tones that are unique to each sheet.

The frame is handmade using 1/4" square oak doweling, finished with tung oil.
The individual electrical components - socket, wire, switch and plugs - are UL approved. Lamp is wired with a candelabra socket, which can be used with bulbs from a 4w night light bulb deals - to a 40w candelabra bulb. For a different look, you may used colored C7 Christmas bulbs. LED bulbs may also be used, but may produce a colder color temperature.
