Wooden whist counters by Camden Pall Mall
.
Circa 1800s
.
Info: We do not know specifically when the markers were made. However, while whist was very popular in the 18th and 19th Centuries, it was rapid displaced by the development of bridge in the late Victorian era. Consequently it seems likely this is a 19th Century piece.
