I love bringing joy to others by capturing the essence of beloved pets with watercolor. These keepsakes also make touching gifts and memorials. The pictures in this listing are examples of my previous paintings, but I will work from the pictures you provide to me to paint your pet (or your friend's pet).
HOW TO ORDER
Send me deals a message through Etsy, Gmail, or Facebook with 2-3 photos of the pet you'd like drawn. I'll reply explaining what to expect during our partnership including the turnaround time, which is typically 3-4 weeks but can vary depending on the number of orders.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD PHOTO
Please send high-resolution, well-lit, unfiltered, and focused photos. Providing multiple photos also provides a broader understanding of the pet's personality, colors, and textures. Pictures that have a slight tilt or turn of the head are preferred because this will result in more depth and realism. The quality of the photographs and these subtleties greatly affects the outcome and quality of the finished portrait.
Please avoid sending professionally taken photos (unless they were taken by you) to avoid copyright infringement.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Once your order is placed, I'll create a draft sketch and send it to you for approval. Minor adjustments can be made at that time, but not once color is added. Once you approve the final portrait, your order will be on its way!
REFUND POLICY
I strive to capture the vision of my clients. However, if during the draft phase, you are not satisfied with the progress, a 50% refund will be issued to cover the costs of consultation, research, materials, and labor to draft the project.
No refunds will be issued once the portrait is finalized and/or mailed.

Though the example pictures are of cats and dogs, I would love the opportunity to paint other types of pets including (but not limited to): rabbits, mice, lizards, birds, and snakes.
