Judith Ripka, Swiss quartz women's wrist watch; engine turned & MOP face, stainless; fits deals 5 1/2 inch wrist; runs well
An attractive water resistant, quartz women's watch with a Swiss parts movement designed by Judith Ripka of New York. The face is engine turned, surrounded by a mother-of-pearl dial. The crown and lug tops are set with clear and deals pink faceted crystals, the crown crystal is a cabochon. The exterior stainless steel case and band are textured and may be plated with a silver toned metal such as chrome or rhodium. The date window, like the designer's name on the back, is encased in a heart.
This watch will fit a wrist up to 5 1/2 inches circumference. The rectangular case measures 1 3/4 x 1 1/16 inches, the fold over band is 3/4 inches wide. It was probably made in the last quarter of the 20th century.
CONDITION: Excellent. The watch runs well, it has a new battery.
