Primitive antique wooden footstool or step stool, measuring 19" long x 12" tall x 9 3/4" wide. It is painted brown but the paint is very worn as is the wood. Thick boards were used & it is heavy for the size. It features boot jack sides and a carrying hole in the top. This piece is from the 1800's and has seen its fair share of use. There are areas of major wear such as dings, scrapes and scuffs to the top edges and corners, paint splatter here and there too. All sides have been shown, please see photos. It deals is sturdy but just shows typical signs of use as expected due to the age, which adds to the charm.
It would tie in nicely with primitives, farmhouse decor or rustic furniture. It will serve as a functional piece in an entryway, kitchen or next to a chair.
