A lovely pin cushion created from a miniaturized version of my larger rabbit pattern. The rabbit is traditionally thread-jointed and fully poseable, including the ears. The rabbit is sewn from cream colored semi-distressed mohair with pale pink vintage silk velvet ear linings. The rabbit is detailed with a stitched nose, glass bead eyes, and a white wool pom pom tail. The white with pastel dotted (to mimic a meadow from a bird's eye view) pin cushion is sewn from Japanese double gauze cotton. The pin cushion is stuffed with organic raw wool, which will keep your sewing pins in excellent condition. The pin cushion is 7 inches tall from top to bottom.
Each Beetlegirl Design creation is one of a deals kind and sewn from my own patterns. Materials are sourced locally from independent suppliers, and some are fashioned from repurposed vintage clothing. While these beasties are not intended as toys, they would be a lovely heirloom gift or a unique addition for the collector.
