Striking Antique Cruet Set, deals Five Piece Glass Cruet, Worn Silver Plate, Elegant Glassware, Salt Pepper Mustard, Oil Vinegar, Table Feature

On offer is this lovely antique table cruet set. It's in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - notable ware however all over the stand and top of the mustard pot exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as an extensive number of blackened verdigris / old corrosion marks to the base of the stand which have worn through to the base metal; light scuffs and scratches commensurate with age; there are also a few small nibbles / bites to the glassware but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the set.

It's of traditional form, the stand itself has been decorated with an outer ribbed border edge / gallery and four charming corner feet.

All five original glass cruets are present and fit as they should in the stand - there's also a small area for flatware to stand in (please refer to images). They've each been beautifully decorated with the same repetitive design which catches the light and display ever so well still.

Included are two shakers for salt and pepper, a mustard pot - ** Please note the spoon present is not original but conforms well **, and two oil and vinegar cruets with stoppers.

The fixing nuts to the underside of the stand are not original but do the job well.

Marked with a generic mark "PGS" for "Plated German Silver" - possibly produced by Silber & Fleming of London, circa first quarter of the 20th century.

It measures 17cm (6 and 3/4 inches) by 11.5cm (4 and 1/2 inches) by 22cm (8 and 3/4 inches) in total height to the top of the loop handle. The oil and vinegar measure 14.5cm (5 and 1/2 inches) in total height to the top of the stoppers, the two shakers 13.2cm (5 and 1/4 inches) and the mustard 10.7cm (4 and 1/4 inches).

A delightful table addition which despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
