This amazing Egyptian Revival bracelet features three rectangular faience tiles embossed with hieroglyphics and four silver cartouche shaped links set with raised hieroglyphic symbols.

The tiles are finished with a mottled green and ivory glaze and are set into heavy open back bezels. A light patina behind the raised Egyptian symbols in the silver links adds drama to the design. The links are joined by two side chains and connect with a large square tongue in groove box clasp secured with a side snap.

The bracelet probably dates from the 1940s, but could be as late as the 1970s. Three Egyptian hallmarks are embossed on the clasp indicating the silver purity, date and origin of the piece. We believe the silver is 800-900, the date is 1940s or 1970s and the origin is Cairo.
