Authentic antique French religious church banner dating to the early 1900s.
Absolutely beautiful procession banner in honor of Sainte Bernadette Soubirous who experienced the apparition of Holy Mary in Lourdes/France.
Printed image and decor.
Rare beautiful light blue color.
And even more rare that it shows Sainte Bernadette after she deals became a nun!
Marked "Sainte Bernadette Soubirous" and "Priez pour nous" (Pray for us).
The beautiful oval image of Sainte Bernadette is framed by a design of lilies, symbol for innocence and roses, attributed to Holy Mary.
Original wooden stick with slightly gilded finials and string for easy wall hanging.
Larger size with a great impact in a religious or shabby chic inspired home decor.
It was bought at auction and comes from a church here in France where I live.
Excellent antique condition, no tears.
