Trio - Quistgaard AZUR - deals 1960s Kronjyden - IHQ - Danish design. Embossed flower pottery. Nordic design / Denmark.

Rare trio from the amazing AZUR line of Jens Harald Quistgaards (IHQ) design. He is also famous for having designed the amazing RELIEF, CORDIAL and UMBRA lines.
The azur line was produced by Kronjyden / Nissen in the 1960s and later by Bing & Grøndahl. A great example of danish ceramic design.

The pattern, a small embossed flower in a beautiful color, is simple and elegant.

Plate, cup and saucer are marked with the kronjyden logo at the bottom, which means that these pieces are all from the early production.

Cup height: 6,3cm // 2.48"
Cup capacity: 2dl
Saucer diameter: 15cm // 5.91"
Plate diameter: 16,8cm // 6.61"

Condition:
Fine vintage condition.
The cup: 2 cm crack from top rim vertical down. Glazing under the cup looks funny (from production). No chips or crazing.
