Carbonation Duo (5.25" deals and 4.75")

A pair of small Carbonation vases that I've been holding dear! The black stoneware causes the glaze to bubble during the firing, but I mixed porcelain into this batch of clay to lessen the bubble deals texture. I love the balance of crater and bubble on the surface of these corresponding vases-- an atypical moment in ceramics where everything comes together.
