*See below for frequently asked questions* - RMS Aquitania was a British ocean liner of the Cunard Line in service from 1914 to 1950. She was launched on 21 April 1913 and sailed on her maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York on 30 May 1914. Aquitania was the third in Cunard Line's grand trio of express liners, preceded by RMS Mauretania and RMS Lusitania, and was the last surviving four-funnelled ocean liner. Shortly after Aquitania entered service, World War I broke out, during which she was first converted into an auxiliary cruiser before being used as deals a troop transport and a hospital ship, notably as part of the Dardanelles Campaign. Aquitania was retired from service in 1949 and was sold scrapping the following year. Having served as a passenger ship for 36 years, Aquitania ended her career as the longest serving Cunard vessel, a record which stood for six years until overtaken by RMS Scythia's service record of 37 years. Q: Will it float in water?
A: Yes but they will tip on their side, they were designed as models so the fact that they float is just a bonus :)

Q: Is this a toy?
A: No. Although so many customers buy this for their kids and love them and I have went back several times and redesigned them to make them as strong as possible, ultimately these are models not toys. As long as they aren't too rough with it though it should be okay for light play.

Q: Does this model break in half?
A: No, but we are working on the idea of someday making a model that does. Wouldn't that be cool?

Q: Will the paint come off in water?
A: This is not a painted model. This version is printed in multicolor plastic so there is not a drop of paint on this one :) If you select a ship that is "hand painted" we coat them all in a waterproof protectant and customers have said that they do ok in water without the paint coming off.

Q: Is this the coolest thing of all time?
A: Yes. Without a doubt, this is the coolest thing of all time.
