A lovely Solid copper copper dish or bowl featuring a lovely organic crimped edge design made famous by Drumgold Copper in the 1940's. This stunning bowl or dish is perfect for trinkets or a display circa 1949-1959. In excellent vintage condition with no dents or major scratches noticed. Minor areas of oxidation spots are noted in the bowl (these areas can be easily polished out if desired, but I wanted to maintain the original patina and integrity of the antique finish that was intended) Lovely caramel color and luster to the copper. Nice heavier piece as well! Drumgold copper was a metalsmithing shop in California specializing in hand wrought copper ware in the late 1940s into the 1950s. Made in California, hand wrought tableware by Leland Joseph Drumgold who was a tinsmith in the 4o's and 50's. The piece is marked deals “Drumgold 278–7” 9” Diameter 2” tall.
