Vintage/Antique Art Nouveau Crystal Bottle Stopper With Decorative Silver Overlay

Excellent condition crystal bottle stopper with Art Nouveau design overlay. Crystal has diamond pattern which can be seen through the floral/vine design silver overlay. Top of stopper has silver medallion (with decorative trim) which could be engraved if you wanted. There is age and use appropriate wear on the medallion but this gives it extra character and will not interfere if you want to engrave something on it.
The stopper base has no chips or cracks but does have very minor wear. There is a small air bubble in the base. There is no detectable damage or missing parts to the sterling overlay. There is also a number '2' engraved on the bottom of the tapered base that fits into the bottle. I do not know what the 2 stands for.

This is a great piece and will be a beautiful stopper for your antique/vintage decanter. Your favorite spirits deserve special treatment.
