REDUCED FRM $199.90. Handmade STEAMPUNK Tall TOP HAT with Vintage Cameo, deals Flowers & Berries, Antique Ostrich Black Plume, Antique Watch Parts, Made of Exotic Genuine Lizard Leather Hide Black/Purple.
The front focal is a Large Vintage Black Glass White Celluloid Left Facing Cameo on Open work Brass peacock setting & leather oval. Above her is a Antique, not working, Large watch face suspended from Medieval type emblem. 2 ribbons with chain & one wide black satin ribbon serve as hatbands. Very large 23" x 5" Silk roses with Berries with Large leaves & curlicues run top to bottom in back, beside large 17" x 4" Antique Black Ostrich Plume (the only thing that survived from a Victorian hat).
I have covered a plastic hat with 12 exotic genuine lizard leather hide that are a black purple. The hides are very small requiring a lot of patching; which explains the black organza ribbons across all connecting pieces (to conceal joining of hides). So if you try you can see tape through the organza. Black tape was used on bottom of hat to cover joints.
This makes it obviously handmade . This is reflected in the price even though it took me 27 hours to make.
This makes a great mini-Sculpture Ior prop when not being worn.

Hat is 11" tall & 14" across, 33" around end to end & 7- 8 inches across opening.
