After lovingly keeping her for almost 15 years, I am finally looking to rehome this custom Amaterasu needle felted art doll deals. She was originally commissioned from the artist BolenArt in 2009 and measures approximately 8” long (nose to tail) and 6” tall (ear tip to toes); a separate piece made in the likeness of her “Reflector” Divine Instrument is included— it has a few poseable wires on its underside that can be inserted into the back of Amaterasu so it appears to be floating like in the videogame. Her eyes and nose are plastic and the undersides of her feet were carefully markered by the artist to resemble pawpads (back left paw has a slight imperfection in this regard). She has only been carefully displayed as a collector's art piece and is not a toy. She has more than likely yellowed to a more beige tone with time and her construction may not be as tightly woven as when I first got her, though she is hardly fragile. Ammy will be carefully wrapped and sent in a box!.
