Pair of Crown Devon Blush Ivory Vases | Rare, made for Cranston & Elliot, Scottish deals Department Store

deals Two Art Nouveau style Crown Devon Fielding's vellum blush vases with long necks, bulbous form body and ornate twin gilt handles in classic blush ivory colour accented with moulded foliage scrolls. This pair were manufactured during the 1900's especially for Cranston & Elliot - an early 20th century department store located in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Although there is no manufacturers stamp, we are confident these are a Crown Devon product as we found the identical shaped vase with the same base decoration with a Crown Devon makers mark on the base. We've included 4 images of those vases so you can compare and come to your own conclusion.
Interesting to note that we could not find any other porcelain pieces that were marked with ‘Manufactured for Cranston & Elliot', so this pair maybe the last surviving made by Crown Devon for the Edinburgh department store.

Condition
In very good condition but with minor crazing and blemishes across both bodies. One has a chip on the underside of the foot rim. The gold gilt shows rubbing on protruding edges and has tarnished in places, most noticeably on the handles.
