Gorgeous vintage wood jewelry box with ornate brass and a beveled easel mirror. Purchased at an estate sale, this unique box as a beveled mirror under the lid that that you stands up like an easel so you can use ro put on you're jewelry or makeup. It has 3 compartments on top deals and a drawer that pulls out on the bottom. All are lined with red velvet type material. The brass detailing is stunning, with medallions and bands of of etched brass. It appears that part of the front latch is missing, but it still opens and closes perfectly. There are some areas where the wood is nicked, but nothing big. This is a gorgeous piece that isn't too big or too small. Hard to find one with the easel mirror, which is my favorite feature. I will add exact measurements when I return home from being out of town. But it is approximately 9 x 7.
