This is a fantastic vintage antique pair of french brass and mother of pearl opera glasses from the early 1900s marked Chevalier Paris and Made in France. I did not clean them, as I love the patina just as it is. They do move up and down to focus by turning the middle lever/mechanism. The mother of pearl is a beautiful off-white/light cream color, although it looks whitish in the pictures.
They measure approx. 3" tall (fully extended) by 3.75" wide. When the lever is at the lowest position, they measure approx. 2.25" tall.
They are in excellent vintage condition and in full working condition.
A perfect collectible for your home or office or used as a prop. It would also be a lovely gift for a special occasion for a theatre enthusiast.
