This great vintage wood canister set was manufactured in Japan in the 1970's by Imperial International. There are four (4) wooden canisters with lids in graduated sizes, each canister has a plastic insert for ease in cleaning. The canisters have dove tailed corners and are hand painted on the front and lid of each. Also included is a matching salt and deals pepper shaker with tops that screw off to refill. Each piece carries the Imperial International stamp.

Measurements include insert & lids:
Flour - approximately 8" in height x 7" wide x 6 1/2" deep
Sugar - approximately 6 3/4" x 6" x 5 1/4"
Coffee - approximately 6" x 5 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Tea - approximately 5" x 4 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Salt & Pepper shaker 4" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"

Excellent vintage condition. Painted areas are in great condition. Plastic inserts are in excellent condition. No cracks, stains or odors. Canisters appear to never have been used other than on display. The salt & pepper shaker evidence of use appropriate for their vintage age. Application of lemon oil may help brighten them up!
