Vintage Alessi deals 9095 stovetop coffee maker ‘La Cupola’, 6 espresso cups, designed by Aldo Rossi in Memphis style from the 1980s
This Alessi 9095 coffee maker, designed by Aldo Rossi, is a perfect example of the 1980s Memphis style: geometrical with a quirky, bold design. The Memphis movement started in Milan, Italy in 1981 by Ettore Sottsass.
This stovetop coffee maker was designed in 1988 and produced in the late 1980s by Alessi. This Italian producer of housewares and kitchen utensils since 1922 has brought everyday home items to a new level of design and appreciation. Alessi is famous for collaborating with a wide range of important designers to work on their collections.
The coffee maker is made of cast aluminum and has a black deals plastic (thermoplastic resin) sturdy handle and spherical knob on the lid. It makes 6 espresso cups. Branded on the bottom is: Alessi, Italy, Aldo Rossi, 1988.
The stovetop coffee maker is in great vintage condition showing only slight signs of usage consistent with its age. There is a natural ‘patina' (oxidation) as a result of the material aluminum. I've tested the coffee maker and it works perfectly.

These are vintage items and may show small signs of previous use. I try to photograph and describe the items (and flaws, if any) as accurately as possible. Please read and watch carefully — the pictures are the best way to describe. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask before purchasing. ;)
I do not refurbish the vintage articles, preferring to leave them in their original condition.
I take care to make sure all items are carefully packaged so that they are not damaged during transport. Ceramic, glass and all breakable items are double-packed with at least 1 layer of bubble wrap to minimalise any breakage.
