deals This Vase has black and brown sgraffito vertical striations from top to bottom. I had frequently tried to read the jumble of words on the bottom of this vase ever since I got it a few years ago. But recently I found a similar piece where the inscription was readable. It says "Gallo Copenhagen Teak" and "ES". The "ES" is ES Keramik (Emons und Söhne) of West Germany in the 1960s.
It 9" h, 3.75" diam Excellent 'as found' condition - no chips or cracks.

Re: shipping. I am now using an alternative carrier for most of my shipments and most are now tracked, insured and faster. However, this carrier does not have a shipping calculator that integrates with Etsy so shipping calculations are still from Canada Post. Timeframes will generally be faster and the rates will usually be less than quoted.
