Seasons Change deals - Accordion-fold Limited Edition Print with Pop-up Bird

This is a limited edition relief print that was made using hand-cut paper plates (collagraphy) and printed on a 1922 Chandler & Price printing press. Letterpress printing is a process that is distinguished from other printing by the pressed in quality of the ink on the paper. It has the truly hand-made feeling that reflects the work that went into its production. The hand-cut bird and its shadow are glued onto the print. The paper is a translucent Japanese washi (Daitoshi - 37gsm).

Edition limited to 40 prints.

Each piece is signed in pencil on the back deals.
