Wonderfully Colored & Scaled Enameling over Sterling Silver Cut-Out deals Fish Brooch/Pin, Maker Marked, Mexico

What, I've got here for your artistic consideration, is this Wonderfully colorful piece of Enameled Sterling Silver Brooch/Pin. Look and see that the enameling has been done in such a way that it appears deals to have scales, fish scales (see photo's). Stamped on the backside Sterling & Mexico in a ringed circle with 925 at the center and the silversmith's initial, J to the right hand side and is more like a designer type J, all are underneath the brooches pin (see photo's). With the weaving Zig-Zaging on the enamel, it really has created the illusion of fish scales, which is quite nice and is very well done with a wonderful blend on the colors used.
The condition on this piece of jewelry art, appears as Excellent, but does show some natural occurring tarnish or metal oxidation and pose no damage to the metal itself. On the enameling there is absolutely no damage done in any way including, any nicks, chips or scratches. The locking clasp, opens and closes just as it should. Then there is a slight dome on the front of the brooch, making it appear puffy or thicker on the fishes body and more 3 dimensional.
A very nice overall look on this piece of enameled art over sterling silver jewelry. I love the simple creative coloring used here with the weaving appearance on the enamel. Certainly is a one of a kind piece or look and for sure is an eye-catching conversation piece.
