These are fabricated from 16 gauge gold-filled wire and solid gold solder. All bangles are soldered with solid gold. Gold solder was used in your gold-filled purchase as much of the time the artisan does not use gold solder and the solder join will turn black easily. Gold solder adds cost to the piece for the maker but the new owner will love the way it wears.

How to know your size and how to measure your hand for a bangle:

1. Make your hand as small as possible, as if you were putting on bangles, bringing your thumb and little finger together.
2. Using the tape measure (or string), measure the around your hand at the widest point (the tape measure should be pulled tight, not loose).
